Hello everyone,

The Space Engineers server is currently being overhauled. Expect there to be occasional issues in the next day or so, and please inform me of any encountered.

Patrick's fantastic, brand-spankin' new mod, Crew Enabled, has been added today! Coming face to face (or barrel) with an actual NPC crew on a ship or station is now possible thanks to this mod! For the sake of testing, I encourage those of you interested, to hop on into the server and mess around with NPC grids. Please do let me know of any bugs you might encounter, or better yet, report anything unusual with the mod to the mod's discord server.

Basic automated server tasks such as autosaving, scheduled restarts, server backups, etc. are being reworked to utilize Torch. Initially, these tasks were either broken, or gave zero warning (server restart for example). So that'll be changed.

Two more mods have been added,

Suppress Vanilla Encounters and Suppress Vanilla Cargo Ships.

I got tired of all the encounters, MAYDAY signals, and cargo ships appearing all over the place. These two mods fixes that.

Again, no action necessary for clients.

Be advised,

Server memory has been increased by 1 gigabyte, and I will continue to increase it if the need arises.

TorchAPI has been added. This is a community-made server plugin that allows for increased monitoring capabilities of server performance, as well as enabling the ability to pinpoint problem areas in the server if there are any (physics behaving abnormally, scripts causing major slowdowns, ect). This plugin does not remove said problems, it only helps identify them.

No actions are required for clients.
