Also, it’s a spectrom. Non-verbal isn’t more extreme, it is just different.
On one end, you have Low Function
Low functioning is where you don’t talk, are very sensitive to light/ sounds, and so on.
The other extreme is high functioning, where you are very extroverted, social (Not that you understand scocial interactions, you just try), and so on.
All autsistic people fall in that range, and it is even arguable that everyone falls in that range, and just if you are between a specific point it is autism. So, yeah
