I have a question regarding this statement in the rules, if i take artwork that is publicly available and i modify it to have animations etc, would that be allowed or would it still be counted as "artwork from others without permission"?
Hey, if the artist has no restrictions about others using the artwork it is considered okay. For example if an artist on lets say Deviant Art has created something which can be used for non-commercial purposes and you use it on your profile and edit it, you can enter the contest. If lets say an someone on Steam created an artwork and you use it (and edit it) without their permission that is not allowed.
