Re-Writing History in Our Own Backyards Since 2016

Imagine the year is 1988 and you are skulking into your friends' basement for an old-fashioned game of Axis and Allies. Upon entering, you find an old dimly-lit AA board set on a folding patio table around which your guys are setting up their starting unit positions, having some beers, and enjoying some banter about who's really the best general of the bunch. Those fellows would be us here at Armchair Generals.

This group is primarily a Grand Strategy community. However, we also support other historical warfare / military oriented strategy and shooter games.

Our aim is to:

- stimulate historical and game-related conversations
- provide great material for discussion
- explore avant garde ideas in all Paradox titles
- help new learning players along
- most importantly, meet friends and be a resource for organized multiplayer sessions

Our community is intended for gamers 21 years of age (if you have a job and/or kids, you are in the right place). Target timezone is EST, but all are welcome.
