In lieu the server being shut down I wanted to throw out there that I moved to The Black Hole ARK Server. Similar rules, increased xp, taming, alpha spawns, and gathering rates, PvPvE hours with PvP weekends, actual server events, admin commands are broadcasted, always somebody on the couple weeks I've been playing so far. so fixed my problem with the downloading so we can put the stairs mod back in, and can we increase the gather rate a little

@Hellex Give this a try, in your steam library right click Ark -> Properties -> Updates tab, under Background Downloads change it to "Always allow...". Lemme know if that helps.

why do i have so much trouble with mods, not all just some, and now eradicator isnt downloading

We can remove the mod then, since its causing you issues.

ya maggot done that (dozens of times) ive reinstalled, restarted steam with every combo of sub/unsubing still no go so its been fun

@Hellex http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=520879363 try manually installing it. All you have to do is click Subscribe and launch the game and the download should start.

:D Interesting notes, mammal babies capable of full health and food straight out of the gate, the "twins" are fully identical, looks, stats to the decimal point, kinda interesting. Dire wolf bellies didn't get as big as I would've thought, barely noticeable,l but you can see the saggy mammoth belly in the background. XD

So after events of yesterday i spent some time figuring out some stuff , instead of killing each other because we wanna pvp how bout we invade another more populater server with high xp and gather rates as one big tribe and cause trouble

Keep getting a connection timeout message when attempting to join the server this morning, not sure if it's because of an update difference or not, but looks like they may have finally fixed the ladders with 219.6! :D Back after a bit, thanks guys.

Weekend event! We will be placing animals around the world, brightly colored. (example: A bright pink pig). The objective is to find it, tame it, and protect it all weekend from other plays/dinos. Each dino will have a reward for keeping it safe until the end of the event. More details tomorrow!

Sept 5th and 6th - 2x XP and 2x Taming. Save up that kibble yo =x
