So large, they had to extend it over two games? I know that there is a high chance the secret on Undercover is in game 1. But the first secret would surely lead off it. Why would they purposely reference it in a pre-order gift otherwise? The answer to sell more copies of the original is valid except people who pre-order a SEQUEL at the HIGHEST tier edition usually have the fist game.

Call me a fool or an old man fanatic but there is still stuff out there unknown. There are so many rocks left unturned in Payday 1 and that displeases me. If Overkill was sly (which they are), they would link everyhting together in a way that makes sense ONLY when you know everything.

I may not be first to think this but in Payday 1, Undercover was set in Washingotn D.C. The entire system in Payday 2 is in the same city if I am not mistaken. Overkill talks about rare missions and I think this may be one. What if there is a Rare overkill mission that pops up on that location where if everyone is wearing a "[Character]" Mask with a gold colour (or bronze knowing it is a rare colour), an event occurs.

This event requires co-ordination and skills form each tree like 3 pager uses, hand cracking safes, the Ove9000 saw and ECM to bypass keycard doors due to there being no keycards. Think about it. There was something off with that mission and has a secret inside it still. If we solve that, maybe we'll be closer to the Payday 2 secret. Maybe there was never a second secret in Payday 1 but they waited for Payday 2. This could make sense since the mission was set in D.C. and the developers were saying things about the map SET IN D.C.
