I don't necessarily think the masks themselves have anything to do with the secret (since they're limited time only - would be much wiser from a business perspective to have the secret accessible for a long time. But I do think that the halloween event has some fun things in it that may or may not be related to the secret - for example, the safehouse nightmare heist when the random "factor" is having all the meth suit "civilians" run into the metal detector and disappear.... wtf is that all about??

On page 38 of the Guide of Bain (the appendix for rats day 3). There is a blueprint of the Washington Justice Bridge and an image of the bridge with traffic on overlayed. The image has the bus with the Mendoza cartel zoomed in 'Zoom x 3'.

What I noticed is that the info on that overlayed image of the bridge from above says:

Does electric center fit in to this context?

I also thought maybe you could open the deposit boxes in the order GGASDFGLHF from the first line of letters. However I realised the letters 'ASDFG' are next to each other on the keyboard, so it might not be significant.

I can't remember this being mentioned before, and along with the mask in the guide having the electric center pattern, I thought it was worth putting down.

I don't think I've seen this info posted before, so good find. Electric Center is an infamous mask pattern, and something bain references at least one time in the webseries. But I have no idea what electric center might refer to outside of that

Umadbrah brought up the cakes in the top left of the picture and I noticed that if you look at only those 6 slices (cropped it in the picture to show the 6 I mean), it looks to be a rough map of 4 stores. The 3 red "8" looking spots might indicate the entrances to Time Out!, Twentyfourseven, and Kung Bo - no entrance for the pear store is depicted. You can even make out where the alleys next to the stores are and everything seems to line up almost according to the in game map. Then we have the birthday cake from payday 2 birthday site, it looks very similar to the cake pictured in the Time Out! store, with a few modifications such as whipped cream on the outside and cherries on top. I drew lines from the cakes to places they also seem to appear - on the menu in Time Out! you can see the image of the 2 cakes side by side, and the whiter cake with the "map" on it is in the food display case in the store, I believe. probably nothing, but what else do we really have right now

The blueprints are there because it's a picture of the table from the basement of the safehouse. You'll notice the map of DC is right behind them as well. Could it mean that it's about harvest&trustee? Of course, but we can't make assumptions like that - those things could just be there to show they're in the safehouse celebrating

If you didn't nit-pick, I would have. :) It's definitely casing mode, as in, "let's case the bank before we rob it." Also, I believe this meaning of case is considered slang.

*EDIT* I'm definitely interested in the possibility of having a player in casing mode on day 3 of firestarter walk into the burning money and go down. I assume the player would go into custody as that's the normal mechanic for such a thing, but it would certainly be odd with no cops present. Now I have to try this.

*EDIT 2* This would certainly be a challenging thing to do, especially if the job was pro. There may also be additional pieces to this one as well, such as also opening certain deposit boxes and/or doing something with a bag of gold from the boxes, per other bain guide pictures.

PS: Sorry about the "Chasing Mode", its not a position people stay in while playing. So yes, Case Mode.

I promise it wasn't an attempt to discredit you or anything you've said, I just wanted to avoid any confusion in the future :)

The paintings in the art gallery are actual paintings in real life from the 4 different artists portrayed on the walls of the gallery, I wouldn't look too far into the paintings themselves unless we find very good reason to.

Well, the one I noticed in his office today is nor one of the ones from the gallery, it is small, rectuangular, peculiar one.

This is also correct. The greyscale painting of the bridge in the senator's office is not found in the gallery, yet it's one of the paintings that has a camera in it.
