Aloha Snackbar

This group is for coordinating ArmA 3 play sessions. We get together every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:30pm PST/ 9:30pm EST.

We tend to play missions created inhouse by #akb members (mostly coop), so if you are a mission maker let one of the mods know so your mission can be uploaded to the server.

We have our own Content Pack (which required to play with us) which includes a selection of user created mods as well as ACRE 2 and ACE. The content pack requires to usage of Resilio Sync (formerly known as BTSYNC) to download, the Resilio Sync link can be found at the bottom of this page.

We also have a Discord channel for when we are not operating in Arma 3.

The Death of MCC

In our continuing effort to improve the group we have decided to finally move away from MCC in favor of an easier to work with alternative: ALiVE. This change will be happening within the next few weeks, so take this time to prepare.

This change, however, comes with a caveat: removing MCC cold-turkey has a pretty good chance of breaking missions, though there are steps that can be taken to prevent this.

If you are a mission maker, you'll need to first remove any MCC modules from your mission and save it. After that, you'll need to remove MCC from your launch line and re-export your missions. We'll make the switch in roughly two weeks, so work dilligently.

If you bump into any unexpected trouble with this, feel free to hop on discord. We're always happy to help!

This change to ALiVE opens up many new and exciting possibilities for our missions and mission makers, and will hopefully challenge us as players in the long run.
