Does the story have to be on any specific topic?
Sometime ago i was speaking to my parents about surviving in the wild. I've always been a picky eater so they laughed and said i probably wouldn't survive a day . I don't like canned beans , or canned peaches , and im definetly not a fan of dog food , but i told them that if i ever got lost , or shipwrecked , or if i was somehow alone somewhere that i would survive , and that they should keep looking for me because i would be out there... A couple of later reports started popping up on every news channel , something about geothermal catastrophes , but i didn't really care . I thought it was just another report about global warming and that we should stop using AC's or whatever ... but no , it was much more serious than that. A few days later it starts snowing where i live which was odd since it rarily snows, only in the coldest winters.
My parents figured we should temporarily move to a hot location of our country where we would probably be safe from the snow storms that were starting to form around or area.
Now this is where things got complicated for us .. The roads were blocked with snow and we couldn't go anywhere so we walked to the train station , but the trains were almost full and we couldn't all go in the same one .We got seperated , our worst mistake.
I told my parents to stay with my little brother and that i would go on this first train . My plan was to wait for them at the station but everything went wrong . When i got there there was some kind of blizzard and i had to run . Some woman gave me shelter for the night , as well as the last warm deicious and well cooked meal i would ever have. The next day i went to the station to see if my family was here but no. A man informed me that after the blizzard the train tracks were busted and no more trains would arrive. I was by myself , 235 km away from home with no food , water , money or a way to get back to my family.
The next couple of days were rough, i scavenged some food and water from the houses , and funny enough , canned beans didn't taste so bad. People started dying out of hipothermia and all sorts .People in this warmer region didn't have much in the way of snow jackets and heaters . Eventually there was no more electricity , as well as running water through pipes. I build myself a bow from some flexible branches i found , pieces of cloth and some string .It wasn't the sturdiest but it could get the job done. I also bilt some traps , mainly for small game. Rabbits, squirels , anyting i could chew on. I made one of the houses i looted my home. It had a fireplace so i would cook there , smelt snow for water and warm myself up . Everyday the snowstorms got worse and worse , but the thought of my family has kept me going . I hope they're safe..
I'm writing this because i don't know how much longer i can holdout , and if you find this mom and dad , I love you very much and i'm sorry if i didn't keep my promise of staying alive no matter what.

I'm not sure. More than 4227, anyways. I hope that's enough for you ^-^

Shall I consider myself lucky enough to be living in the middle of the planet?? You know, no snow and that??

Nice job :)
