Group for Serious Gamers

Like the title of the group sats, we will accept any challenge from any other group, no matter who they are. In this group you will find someone to go online with you.

Not only will we form teams specific for their best games. to play on different gamesand enter as many tournaments as we want. But it is a friendly, mature group. We will sometimes just chill out, and have a talk about games and offer tips, or anything we like.

Everyone is welcome, but the emphasis will mainly be on FPS, RPG'S, and MMORPG's. Although that is just my bias lol, all genres, eveverything to retro to sts.

So when you are stuck for someone to back you up in a co-op game, or want to drum up a team for say League of Legends to play ranked or not. Team forming will be great, as we will be represented in many games.. A chance to make some new friends, and more importantly to become the best!

NEW VERSION OF SITE WILL HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

This site won't be like any other you have been a member of before. It will be eclectic with something for everyone.
If you have an idea and you want to open a special zone in the club, then just DM me or Marianne and we will help you get your project started.

For example, one of the group zones with be a dedicated D&D Beyond 20 zone. This is where you will be able to take part in the latest tabletop game. It will link you direct to the playing area on game night, where each player will have their own characters and be able to take part in one of a couple of mega campaigns. The world they are both set in is has been constantly developed for 37 years, and now with the additional aid of sites such as Campfire, they lands around Tharfold will be more colourful and lore rich than any campaign currently available on the market. There will initially be a DM for both the Pathfinder 2, and D&D5th edition campaigns. Still to be announced although I will be running one of them. We have all the markers and coupens we need for an amazing visual experience, and your characters will be kept on file by Beyond Dragon. We have tons of sourcebooks, maps, adventures, stock cards and coupons. And we will probably play one of each campaign a week.
We will be approaching the game for new players. So even if you have never played a real dungeons and dragons game, you can roll up a character and take part and see what all the fuss is about,

Please note that I will also be remaking my most famous adventure module. The notorious Lord Nimo's Secret Dungeon of Torture. Not for the faint of heart one, and will be a completely new experience to the orignial.

If you yourself want to DM a campaign, and can run a Runequest, Call of Cthulu or Spacefinder, feel free to let us know so we can get your game set up as well.

Not only this but we plan to have zones for artists, musicians, even maybe a stand-up comedy room! We will link to other sites have this as where we create and play,

This site will also have an award for creator excellence. Anyone taking on their own project in game making will have all the support they need here. As well as a pool of talent we will build up.

Not to mention our original intention to face other teams in moba battles or whatever multiplayer challenge you can think off. We will not only have team roosters ready to face any other group, but we will have regular paid coaches coming in to give tips on how to climb your elo ladder.

That's not even all. We shall have a creative writing zone. All members will be welcome to present their own stories or poems. Each year we shall look at the best of what is on offer and actually publish our own work via Amazon, so that not only will you see your writing in a book, but you may even get realities depending on its success,

So use the forum and ask any questions you want. The future will be fun!

AWG is my online family, and there are a lot of experimental projects I want to endeavour without causing any disturbance over at my the main group.

So this will be affialiated with AWG. And in no way am I leaving or every planning to leave my wonderful friends who I see as family over there.

So why the re-opening of AT:AP?

This will be a zone for oflline gaming, such as tabletop rpg's. There are also plans underway to launch a PBEM game, or several. Currently in talk with a firm who used run the worlds biggest PBM games, and we would like to try out some games on here. There are two in the works. One, Evil Doers is a 20 player game where upon you play as an evil class and seek to spread your destruction throughout the mystical land of Lendalyne. Each player chooses their own class and style, and from their must begin their reign of torment. Coercing or recruiting new armies to your cause as you attempt to conquear the hex map one hex at a time. Players can choose to team up to form alliances or face off against each other. In the end there can be only one! A fun and amusing game, filled with random events that spring out of nowhere to change the course of the game.

The other is still very much at the design stage. It's a boxing manager game. You choose your inital stable of raw young talent or give an old journeyman a second chance. Hire trainers, and coaches and make sure you have the best in gym equipments and fitness programs. Get to know each of your fighter's as you mentor them. Learn their history, are they damaged goods, partying on the side. Or are they determined and have glory in their hearts. Knowing this will give you the edge when knowing which of your fighters has the genuine star power and chance to go all the way to the MGM and world championship glory.

Beware of other players and promoters who might try and poach your star boxer. Or set-up a mismatch with one of your guys. Your rep is everything, and can you stage the fights dreams are made off. Then sit back and watch on fit night as your boy takes to the ring.

I have not used this site properly for many, many years. There is a good possibilty that nobody will ever even see this. However, I am going to be using it to discuss various topics. We live in troubled times, of which I shall address later, and I might be around for long. So I welcome anyone who reads this a pass to join.

Yes, at the moment it is dead. But I shall writinh on and ends here, and should anyone eish to take part and join. You are welcome. Be bwarned though this it will not be to everyone's taste.
