The only things that seems not restored yet are Astats member levels and XP and Astats achievements.

I was 2731 in total ranking yesterday, and now I'm 28376 :D
All my rarest ex-orange achievements are now worth nothing and exist as green or blue ones =))
Most likely crawler is having hard time crawling all users, so achievements value points are not correct for a while?
Hope all will come to normal in a couple of weeks

Seems like database is restored to the point quite some time ago, so need to wait a bit more for everyone to get their profiles up to date...
And for guides and astats XP need to wait a bit more until Myth deal with it completely.

Kind of offtopic, but yes, I always was puzzled why such obvious thing as HTTP to HTTPS redirection is not implemented on Astas web part. It is pretty much configurable (without hard effort) on all common web server services - Apache, IIS and so on. Having it not configured in 2021 is like a junior funny mistake, cause all modern web browsers (with Google Chrome in the head of the train) do pretty much everything to move Internet to encrypted world, and have precise step by step plans of decomissioning HTTP protocol at all.
Such redirection is absolutely obvious thing for those who work in IT and was involved in creating, deploying or administering any public or enterprise web services and/or networks/domains for the last few years...

And on topic - yep, entire month has gone with service is down, but i still think that it is not enough for such service to be abandoned. If it will be up and running, it still can return users during several weeks. So still hope for A and B points from my previous post...)

Public service approach and simple technical redundancy measures are totally not implemented, restore time is taking a month already, creator has no time, yeah, crawler is old and not reliable, yep, all it is, as I wrote several pages ago here... It's kind of sad and shame things.. BUT...

Let's not start all that R.I.P. Astats things and stuff!

Cause it is just sad to hope that this service will die! Do not know any reason to want it's death.

I, personally, hope that this service:
A) Will be finally restored to the working and completed state
B) Full admin and development rights and decisions will be sold/transfered/moved etc. to professional development team, and project will have The Development (in all means of this word) it totally deserves.

I know, it can not happen, but some chances always exist.

Selling not working service in down state is a bit harder than good looking and smoothly working one :) But generally I agree. We all could win if it was already sold perhaps. But perhaps not - cause there is no guarantee that The Buyer will be business ready man with adequate decisions and good development plans. With every new day with Astats remaining down, it's future seems more and more unconcerned to me... I have a bad feeling about this (c)

Database seems to be broken, and fix or backup restore can not be performed easily by admin words. Fact that still there is no sign of working web interface just approves this in a sad way.

Server is self-build home class machine on self-home-hosting without specific redundancy measures cause astats crawler and other software is just a private, home class project, not any kind of serious business approach etc. This circumstances led to this problem, but we can not do anything about this. Only astats creator will can change something.

All everyone can do is just have their fingers crossed and hope that database and web interface (or parts of them) restore is possible at all. And wish some luck to admin. I personally want to see Astats as more powerfull and smooth running project, professional, business one, but... life is life.

If self hosting is more convinient and handy, and crawler requires it permanently... Than it should have some kind of redundancy... No storage arrays, SAN and server cluster of course, but at least some kind of basic redundancy- RAID 1 for database and other critical partitions, some replacement parts on site, periodic backups, bulletproof backup and recovery plan, and maybe two different ISP for uplink if possible... Without that situations like this can happen occasionally and, usually, will happen... P.S. existing crawler is far from nice and stable solution;( it is often down for days unfortunately ( dunno how hard to totally rewrite and recompile crawler for VPS usage case so can not comment
