Hello everyone! First off, thank you for your patience and thanks for being a member on Astats! Second, sorry for the connection issues of the site.

We may have pinpointed the issue of the site, which in this case our DNS may not be updated enough to have a good connection to the site.

While normally issues like this fix itself for the user, it may take longer for some, so I'll be posting two possible troubleshooting methods that may solve the issue.

Quick Fix (May be temporary):

You can access the site currently by going here:

This is recommended only if you just want to access the site and not log in. If you try to log in through Steam, you will have to enter your credentials again. At first, you may get "Taking too long to respond" but keep trying and you should go through. If not, you may continue below.

Troubleshooting #1: Clear DNS cache.

This is a simple command you can do in command prompt. This is also useful if you have difficulties accessing usual sites.

Troubleshooting #2: Clear browser cache

If you are able to access Astats with a different browser, but not your usual one, please try clearing your cache. (This will also help speed your browser and computer a bit.)

Troubleshooting #3: Restart router

This is an easy thing to do. Simply power off your router, wait a few seconds, then power it back on. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting your modem and router, wait 10 minutes, then connect and turn everything on.

Troubleshooting #4: Use a different DNS Server

You may want to weigh your options on doing this. If you've been having problems with other sites and not just astats, it is recommended to do this. However, if astats is the only issue, it's best not to do this. Otherwise, your choice.

After "Building Custom List" and running the benchmark, the list is color-coded.
Solid Green - Current server
Green Hole - Good
Orange - Hijacking (bad. you do not want this.)
Red - Dead, unresponsive, or private (you don't want this either)
Blue circle around color - either ipv4 or ipv6, not both. (You don't want this either.)

As stated before, this is recommended if you have trouble accessing other sites and not just Astats.

Troubleshooting #5: Wait it out

Problems like this 95 percent of the time just fix itself. At most, it will take a week for it to settle. If your internet is fine and you don't want to fool with it (especially if you had bad luck in the future), that is fine. In the mean time, we will do our best to make sure we provide all possible options to access the site.
