Another TW petition worth mentioning - campaign map editor!

Hi guys,

we all know Medieval 2 has brought us the most and greatest overhaul mods so far.

Rome 2 and Attila yet lack of those, mainly because the campaign map itself is NOT modable.

There is a cool project going on called Rise of Mordor and a fan of this mod actually started a petition that they can continue their efforts in regard of the campaign map.

We need a modable campaign map back for sure, otherwise we are forced to play Medieval 2 mods for the rest of our short lives :)

CA said (THFE aka Oakley recited that on Youtube) they are going to "fix" the modding tools so campaign map editing will be possible. I think with a bit of supporting this petition it will give it more weight for them to do so.
Basically the whole TWC and modding community is awaiting that. And so far 2 modding summits held at CA have not yet brought a fast change.

For you Latin Scholars, this new DLC is the one leaked previously,
Age of Charlemagne!

I waited a bit to post this announcement to make sure I got the faction lists correct.

8 Factions, which can reform into their own Kingdom:

Kingdom of Charlemagne
Kingdom of Mercia
Westphalia
White Huns/Avars
Kingdom of the Lombards
Emirate of Cordoba
Kingdom of the Asturias (They are the only faction that can raze)
Kingdom of the Danes

A War-Weariness system, which might balance out the aggressive A.I.
Basically, don't be at war for too long, and don't lose too many battles or armies will desert and public order will drop.

As Charlemagne, kill Carloman to inherit his kingdom.

I love the illuminated unit cards! They look great.
