Please check discord for mod update info

As mentioned at today's operation, we will begin posting announcements in discord, in a dedicated announcement channel. As discord makes it much easier for people to notice any messages, especially ones marked @everyone. We believe it will help get announcements out to a greater part of the member base, rather than steam announcements, for which you need to be online and paying attention to see the pop up. Member's will not need to worry about checking steam announcements as they will either be made on discord, or on both platforms. We recommend you keep the channel unmuted.

As discussed in last week's town hall and as an effort to increase the communication and cooperation between mission makers, those who support mission development, and the admins, we've decided to make the mission makers channel on discord private to only those who are involved in the process. We hope that this will keep the channel focused on its main purpose and avoid any distractions, as well as prevent the burying of information that can happen on discord. In addition, it may help avoid "spoilers" of missions being shared with the general community body.

To be clear, we have no intention of locking people out of mission development or making it more difficult to get into. We are incredibly appreciative of those who help and work to deliver the best experience we can and always welcome members that want to help in any way.

If you are interested in or already making missions, or assisting our mission makers, whether it be with scripting, testing, loadouts, etc. just shoot me or Lawson a message and we will give you access to the channel. Just know that we do have an expectation that those in the channel assist in someway, keeping the channel on topic, and encouraging the communication and cooperation with each other that will help us make great missions.

As with most things in ARCOMM we aim to be flexible and adaptable. This policy is not set in stone and subject to change or reversion in the future. If there are aspects that are disliked or suggestions for improvement feel free to bring them up in town hall after a couple weeks have past to test the changes. Until then, I expect everyone to give it their 100% to see how it goes.
