New Death|Squad Server Now Live!

We have a new 50-Player Public Arma 3 Server online, which will be running [KP Liberation Australia] mission. This mission uses the awesome Aussie map, which like the country, it huge!

Only a few smaller mods are required*, but by default existing mods we have used before are in play. A list of the suggested mods can be found here:

KP Liberation is RHS by default. We hope to have the "Project Uncut" running too, which is the continued version of the Australian Defense Force mod.

NEW Official ARMA III Unit

Be sure to apply to the Official DeathSquad ARMA III Unit by finding us via the Arma Dashboard "Find Unit" function and search "deathsq".

SERVER CHANGES

Hey chaps,

The server will be cancelled in 20 days.
In its place a shiny new 32 player PUBLIC server will take its place!

It will run Insurgency on Altis as default.

Details to follow.

**Teamspeak server will also be changed.

New provider = WombatServers Australia.

Before Arma, before CoD and before Battlefield.... this game was there. It was well ahead of its time. Boosting destructible terrain, giant maps, huge arsenal of jets, helicopters, weapons, tanks, arty and uniforms.... even hand gestures.

The AI was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miserable.... but MP it's great fun.

Update.
I'm currently looking into some issues regarding mods working on the server. Despite being in the launch parameters, and being correctly located in the .dir, the server is having issues.

I will look to resolve this Issue promptly.

Regarding A3MP (Map pack), if the server runs a mission using a A3MP map, all clients loading to the server need to have A3MP in launch parameters. If you don't 9/10 you will drop through mid-air into the ocean. This is because Arma allows the download of the mission, but the client holds the map. (Stiiibs, if you attempt to load a map from A3MP tonight - i suggest checking you have A3MP in launch parameters, and trying it again!)

Also, the primary mod you should run is Nato_Sf_Spetnaz:

If you do not run this mod, other players will be seen to be holding pretend guns.... and going "pew, pew"
