A well-played Assault has a strong advantage over Recons when it comes to similarly capable players and considering the skill requirement to play a Recon efficiently (which I still do not) I would say that Nevermore's statement is more related to him not being able to predict a Recon and then furthermore not being able to shoot it.

Either way I like the current balance between the classes and, if any nerfs are to be made, the Assault could use some very minor adjustments but that would make people complain more about Recons so it seems like a deathtrap.

What do I do as an Assault vs Recons? I employ an understanding about different ways a Recon can be played and pushed to the limits, make adjustments in play style and then just shoot them.

Yeap, EZPZ for Recons would be really fun although this weapon has severe limitations in terms of bang for buck.
