92nd Regiment of Foot - "Gordon Highlanders"

The Gordon Highlanders was one of the great names of Scotland's history, and one of the British Army's most celebrated regiments. It was the local regiment of the North East of Scotland, recruiting mainly from Aberdeenshire, Banffshire and Kincardineshire, an area which took great pride in the Regiment's record.

The Regiment
The 92nd Regiment of Foot (Gordon Highlanders) is a regiment for Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars, that was formed in September 2010, and is dedicated to providing a fun and serious environment to it's members. We participate in 200-man linebattles every week as well as one versus one linebattles. 92nd is reforming in EU

Hey guys,

I'll just let you know that the EU side of the 92nd is being revived to play the new Holdfast game. We will remove all current members to avoid confusion for us. If you wish to remain part of the group and attend our events, just let me know and we'll work something out.

92nd Disbanding

Gentlemen,

As of May 14, 2016 the 92nd Regiment of Foot will no longer be participating or hosting any events within Napoleonic Wars. There are many reasons for this, and I could go into some depth about them, however I'll keep this brief, and anyone who has questions can contact me about it on their own time.

In short: The 92nd has been great fun for the past 7 months. The whole reason we reformed was so that the officers and NCOs, and our veteran members could get one last moment of fun and glory out of NW before it dies. Having accomplished both of these goals (some to a greater extent than others), myself and a majority of the members have agreed that continuing to host and pay for servers, in a game that no longer glows to us is, simply put, a waste of time.

The expenses far outweigh the rewards at this point, and things have become a drag for all members of the Command Staff. I know this will come as both a shock and disappointment to some, and I understand that. If you have questions, feel free to PM me on steam, and I will answer them as in depth as possible.

With all this being said, myself and the other members of the Command Staff do not regret the decision to reform, we did so with the goal of having fun, and that goal has been accomplished, however, our time here is through, and we must move on.

P.S. TS3 will likely remain up to be used as a hangout spot, feel free to hop on if you'd life. (Slot number will almost certainly be reduced).

P.P.S. We can count ourselves among the few elite regiments to have disbanded not once, not twice, but three times. So that's something.
