Welcome to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment - Currahee! The 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment also known as Currahee is a realism unit for the game Day of Defeat: Source. As a realism unit for DOD:S we try to model ourselves after the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the United States Army. Our ranking system and group structure is historically correct. Currahee got its name because the Currahee Mountain is located inside Camp Toccoa, Georgia. Since on Steam we can't have shoulder patches, instead our tags and avatars represent us. All 506th PIR Members will have the name as Rank. Name [506th PIR] and have an avatar of their correct rank.
