It'll give you a pretty good idea of what games to get when starting out on PC. Although I'll add in a few others. Tribes: Ascend, Terraria(if you like Metroid-ish adventure games with a hint of minecraft), MODS(especially Black Mesa, and Nightmare House 2), Alien Swarm, Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac, Cave Story, the Doom series(if you're interested in older FPS games), Spiral Knights(a F2P MMO), Max Payne 1 & 2, and Magicka. This is my opinion, so yours may differ, but I hope this helps.
