What are we?

The 2nd RFB is a Coop realism group, who play on ArmA 3 as their official game.

What do we do?

We normally play Invade & Annex / Patrol Ops on our own server. While the previous RFB group, and its administration enjoyed PVP matches against other clans, the new administration has decided to postpone these activities until we have built up our numbers again.

Server Rules

- All pilots and squad leaders must have a microphone. (no exceptions)

- Any player who does not respond on text or voice must be kicked from the server.
(To make room for responsive and cooperative players eager to play on a realism server.)

If you encounter a griefer on our server, we highly encourage you to seek an admin in the Teamspeak to sort out the problem.

The public server's purpose is to give all of our microphone-challenged members the same standards of RFB coop realism in an environment where a microphone is not required to have fun.

Recruitment

Any and all are allowed to join. We simply ask that you have a microphone, or intend to get one, otherwise communication will become very hard.

If you feel like signing up, you can go ahead and log onto our Teamspeak 3, or add me or KeyBind to go through recruitment procedure.

Salute, soldier!

2nd Reaction Force Battalion is in the works again!

Me, Doctor and KeyBind are currently in discussion on how to form this all this time around. So far, we've hit it off to a great start!

What we'll be offering what people might know;
- Trainings.
- Ranks.
- Unmodded public server.
- The good old feeling of belonging in a real, coordinated unit!

What we'll be offering what people might NOT know;
- A line of missions set in Stratis, Altis and Tanoa in chronological order, with backgrounds, mission briefings and real-time developments based on an operation's outcome.

That's all we've agreed upon for now, but much more is in discussion, and we're busy writing up new lesson plans and missions!

We hope you'll join us once more.

New update is live! Come play! Filter 2RFB in the server browser!!!

Here are the changes:

-Tweaked random messages to reduce time in between and notify players about pilot rules
-Tweaked in-game names of pilot roles. They now state that only 1 pilot is allowed per active squad
-Added new users to Zeus who do not need to be the #adminLogged to access Zeus
-Tweaked positioning of respawn points, helicopters, and other materials
-Tweaked the items placed around the helicopters
-Added 2 invincible Cheetas for AA near base.
-Tweaked default parameters to include a 10% chance of an enemy helicopter, enables side missions, changed number of vehicles/patrols and increased the amount of soldiers that spawn in buildings. (there is now more of a focus on urban combat AND long ranged combat)
-Restrictions now work properly and can be changed. By default, anyone can use an marksman rifle or HMG but needs to be slotted up as the correct unit to use UAV's and AT weaponry.
-Added notification markers across the map with info on how to join the steam group
-Performance tweaks

@Humla I've looked into it, and it looks promising yeah, but 2RFB died a lonely death once more.

Not sure how active you guys still are but you should try Squad if you haven't played it. It is basically Project Reality 2 and looks very promising even though it is still early access. Vehicles will be added soon! :)
