Aged 16 years or older, or display exceptional maturity.
Willing to attend events on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Silesia was a province taken from the Austrian Empire by the Prussians under Frederick II in the 18th century. Silesian soldiers served in not only the Prussian infantry regiments, but also had their own Silesian-exclusive rifleman regiments and companies. They were some of the best sharpshooters in Prussia, and the Silesians were prided generally as brave and worthy soldiers.

Awards received historically
The awards received by members of the Grenadier Battalion: 4 iron crosses 1st class, 53 iron crosses 2nd class, 12-Imperial Russian Order, and 5 St. George Medals for NCOs and men..

On 21st November 1808 the battalion was organizationally assigned to the 1st and 2nd Silesian Infantry Regiments. The first and second Company was the 1st Silesian Infantry Regiment, the third and fourth Company assigned to the 2nd Silesian Infantry Regiment.
