"...these troops (1steTI) had been, not only well trained; but were battle hardened men, strengthened by the scars of past battles and wars. The brave men of the 1steTI have won many Battles and accolades throughout their flawless service to the Danish Monarch, Frederick VI. The men of the 1steTI are not only Danish but Norwegian also, this is due to the past Empire of Denmark-Norway and is also the reason for adopted ranks from both great countries.

The 1steTI is a Dano-Norwegian Line infantry regiment, we do not specialize in any particular skill in combat by but train our troops to thrive in all fields of combat and therefore achieve supremacy over all other regiments. We do our very best to create a friendly, cohesive community in a mostly serious environment for line battles & reg v reg competitions.

We attend events on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays with training sessions during the weekend and on weekdays.

The regiment was created on the 13th of March 1808, the date of Frederick VI's Coronation and, from this comes their motto, "Til Kongen" (For the King).

In 1807, the Dano-Norwegian Navy was confiscated by the British Navy on the grounds that they were planning an attack, Denmark, this attack forced Denmark-Norway into an alliance with Napoleon. the 1steTI fought well in the battles to come, being victorious in many battles, however, when Denmark-Norway were defeated by the British and Swedish forces, the ties between the two countries were severed as were the armies or what was left of them. The 1steTI is one of the few Dano-Norwegian Regiments to remain intact and served Denmark with honour and in service of their King.
