We're a newly formed, Russian themed militia/civilian unit. We cater to NA/EU atm we're mainly an NA based group looking to get involved more in EU events alongside our comrades. Welcoming new/old players alike to the game and the regimental community!

--Real Life Opolchenie--

The People's Militia is of the type known as "national troops" such as the Dnieper Cossacks, or German Landwehr, and is often translated as the people's militia, home guard, people-in-arms, national popular army, civilian reserves, popular levy, People's Volunteer Army, or national guard among many other names.

Opolchenie (a kind of "Landsturm") was composed of temporary militias recruited from mostly peasant volunteers, its members never belonged to an organized military force, but were in all cases selectively accepted from a body of volunteers during a national emergency.
