151st is in a platoon with FRMD we need more men to win this alert

Hello Freedom Fighters old and new! It is that time of year once more where we call you to arms, call you to dust off your Gauss Saw and your Galaxy and prepare to take on the brunt of the TR and VS forces! Come and join us, on Sunday the 15th of October at 19:00 BST!

That’s right the 151st Freedom Fighters are now 5 years old! 5 years ago JT got together and was persuaded by the old guard - some of whom we hope to see, to create this fine outfit. For 5 years we have fought alongside and against many people, some we still wage that same war against. We have made and lost friends over these 5 years, outfits have been born and have died, from Woodman to Miller we have fought and we still fight on. Our numbers playing on a day to day basis may have dwindled, however! We have gotten to a platoon strength twice before, let's top it this time and show to this server that we can still provide the impact and the numbers if called upon!

Last year we said goodbye to our friends WASP, and boy did we do it in a good manner! This however does make a slight complication… How the hell are we going to top it!? The officers are going to be working our socks off over the coming month to recruit old members, new members and everyone in between. Our many contacts will be used to bring as much force to bare so we can enjoy another fantastic night in celebration of this great outfit!

We would hope to get the Killer Whales airborne to provide support from the air and to be on call Galaxy drops and of course to fill our platoon with FFS members to strike like we used to!

Hello Freedom Fighters!

This is a call to arms to all of our members!

On the first Sunday of December (04/12/16 19:00 JTM Time) we will be hosting our Anniversary Ops!
(CET for those who dont remember, we call that JTM in honor of our leader)

Yes I know it is late, but by the time we had realised it was JT's birthday, we knew we had missed the actual date. In addition to other factors, we thought we would do it late & better than a last minute rushed ops night.

Related to this is the sad news that WASP will be disbanding.
WASP have been a valued outfit of the server and one of the few surviving tactical outfits. We have played with them often - and the suits know, they've saved our bacon many times!
This will happen around the end of November, and we are organising the most fitting send-off for our comrades.

So this is our Anniversary, and that's why its late.

We want as many of our members to join us as possible.

In the last anniversary we hosted for our outfit we had an amazing turnout, with over a platoon of old & new members alike. Everyone had heaps of fun, and enjoyed a fun nostalgic filled night of gaming with old friends.

As said previously, the event will be held on the First Sunday of December, making it the 4th of December at 19:00 JTM.

Due to the nature of the event, we will be using WASP's teamspeak.
Please make sure you have the latest version of Teamspeak installed and configured before the event.

We realise that some of our older members probably do not have access to the announcements forums to see the discussion. To help get everything ready - make sure people are getting in game, that teamspeak is working for everyone and to help catch people up with the details of the event - officers will be on Mumble from 18.30 JTM time.
