There will be three progressional era(s) on the server, the first obviously comes correctly numerically. Keep in mind this is a work in progress.

With the catastrophic outcomes of The Black Mesa research facility, it's tale shook world wide -- of course as it would.. senseless slaughter of scientists and any xeno biologenic organisms that came from that location. This was a major wake up call to not only research facilities across the world alike Black Mesa, but corporations worldwide; governments appaled by the actions of The United States Military quickly came to wits instead of preservation or conservation of traditions and proper state.. the talk of a New World Order came to the table of many professional world leaders inspired by the likes of the long gone George Soros, and those who follow in his footsteps for total world domination, and adjusting the world to all fit and serve as The Complete, Universal Union, and National Totalitarian State.

Surely the combine learned of this demise, the exposure of the planet Xen -- and potential enslavement of not only the Xeno Creatures, but the Human Species as well.. driving them to servitude and unwaivering loyalty; and genociding the rest unfit for The Combine's interdimensional reign and desired lust for power.

It is misinterpreted in the lore of Half Life 2, that the combine are likely fighting wars all over.. not only in our dimension, but across millions perhaps trillions of other planets and dimensions other than earth.. so likely Earth would not be a problem on their path for total universe, and transdimensional occupation of all known to carbon based life, or even fluidic if for another dimension..

In this 'First Era', the combine are to take a different approach of the world -- and seeing it's potential for enslavement and mass genocide, through the art of perfecting it's warring ties with Globalism and Socialist Acts, formulated in it's years past. The Combine began enslaving the world, but not by brute force when provided unnecessary; but through shackles of corporate jobs and National Globalism -- a proven useful tactic to planets who act soverign and hostile with different beliefs of their own species.. which is proven highly abundant in the Sol System and likely along many parts of The Known Galaxy, Universe.. and other dimensions alike.

With this all explained, very vaguely but to a drawn point - the combine are already not a force to be reckoned with in the alt-right universe from the vanilla expansion, where the combine takes over the earth in seven hours. It would even be more terrifying if The Combine did so through undermining world powers and their governments..

The ultimate opportunity for the combine would be ceased, taking control over the H&K (Heckler and Kotch) weapons facilities in Switzerland, a New World Order - a... Universal Union formed in stone. The Combine quickly worked and established this foothold on the world, with rarely any speculation of the Human Species -- which quite fondly is attempted by them for the conquering of many planets and other empires throughout known life in the transdimensional universes, galaxies, and planets. Martial Law was no longer considered a deniable term, it was always in effect - people's rights to safeguard public and hide private property and withhold mortal privacy and clarity of thought and open speaking .. was totally erased. This would be a perfect example of why the Civil Protection would be enforced to wear alike gear to preserve officer anomity, alike with their indistinguishable vo coders and appearance of the visual sense.

Geneva, Switzerland was the first capital city to be claimed and used for it's rich resources and docks for supplies.. with a large citadel tower to be renown as the 'International World Trade Center' --- with vasts amount of space for cargo, businesses for citizens, and security detail. It was secretly used however for slave mines and drilling beneath the earth for it's resources, and controlling the flow weather, blaming weather changes on Global Warming and acts of pre-world governments. It's foothold on the world would scream 'The Universal Union' with it's alike red banners and spreading influence, major world powers and corporations, including banking conglomerates.. would fund this New World Order, with the many times stated before.. 'Universal Union'. Loyalists would be very very apparent in this time and era of the world, including economical backers and potential business owners looking to thrive in Geneva. Many see this as a very wanted change, and many oppose this. Thats why there are Politics, well fake politics in a sense, as nothing gets past The Combine. Politics were still a thing to be existant for fact, but was only a mere's game of 'fake' power to distract the human species from their total enslavement and genocide from The Combine's will themselves.

Those who began to rebel from inevitably knowing the truth, either leaked footage or witnessing with their own eyes, the most backbone of the freedom activists with armed reasons would be ranked by mostly defected Civil Protection units -- who escaped and disabled their biosignals within their suits when they inevitably flocked to help the common cause to help save the human species, or rather sound.. Mankind. Those who squealed in this manner without brute force were to be labeled enemys of the universal union and were usually met behind closed doors, and silenced with brute force, and even more so through Geneva's News, The Combine were highly correctional and superstitous at picking their News Centre workers, once the combine knew they could control the news, they could control the inter media and gain loyalists by every waning hour. Controlling the populace meant overwhelming power, the ability to have the world kneel and do as you say -- either unintelligently or a state of being un aware and missing clarity. Those who worked in collaboration with weapons and arms were phrased as 'Terrorists, against our ever-so perfected world order and Universal Union!' -- it was the prime directive for the Civil Protection's forefront against the folding of/and inevitable demise of The Combine's will for being on Earth in the first place. To disclose to the major media about a scandal above everyone involved -- was a major problem for The Combine, and they took every measure and precaution possible to prevent this from half measure.

Some things to note here, are The Overwatch Transhuman Arm -- were rarely ever seen, EVER.. in the First Era.. perhaps guarding Political Figures, but not even then.. most likely used when things are too out of hand for The Universal Union and their New World Order, where potentially the second era could be skipped entirely.

If, The Overwatch Transhuman was ever witnessed in action or movement - their pulse rifle weaponry would be a bastardly sight, and most likely every citizen would cower in fear to their arrival or use of said plasma weaponry. Anyone who dare gets in their way would be severely hurt, detained, or worse.. dead or missing the very next day or killed in that moment on the street.

It is also to note, that the Civil Protection will act like Law Enforcement, only with preserved officer anomity -- until close to the end of The First 'Era' that is.. No more audio violations or movement violations, however it does not mean Civil Protection cannot investigate claims for why someone could be running at night or from anything. Civil Protection is also known as the 'Geneva Security Agency' at this time, and almost all units are left with the confines of a holstered H&K 9MM USP, as if any other law enforcement officer. General Tazer Weaponry was decided as too dangerous, with miniscule recorded deaths by the excessive electrons, but a fabricated plot for The Combine to enforce later brutality.. and as the world is changing - it was decided to outfit Civil Protection with stun batons that act as a tazer on impact, without the need for fatal blows! During this era, Batons are usually sheathed unless necessary.


Likely by this point, the human species would be degenerated with all halts on major corporations and research for technological evolution, including industrial - planting them right around the backpedaling spiral to the Fifties. The general populace would get a consistent idea of the wrath and power of The New World Order, many cases of officer brutality fled to the eyes or ears of the ordinary citizen, but it was beyond their control.. without a firearm or some way of abusing their political power if they were in such position - but most met their fate in this way.. either becoming missing from their home to never be seen again, or severely wounded for where they sit in Power. By this exact point, there is nothing that the Human Species can do to stop the control of The Combine, by this point they likely may even know about The Combine, and their inevitable tyranny over the world and surmised control over The Human Species. Many defect to "Terrorist" Cells, who in which were right all along, and are provided with the laughing stock of many turning to their cause -- the only way to drive The Combine out of the world would be with bronze and braunn.. outwit the highly paid and controlled politicians.. assassinate them, and if not eventually -- attempting to drive out The Combine of Geneva, Switzerland by this time. It does not mean there are a less amount of Loyalists though, by this time - the mainstream media and news network would be embedded very deep into Human Civilization. It is healthily known by this time that The Combine has taken over the entire world, rooting up other cities and imposing Martial Law, assassinating high targets or buying out political leaders. The 'New World Order' including their vast Universal Union agenda.. would have taken flight in renaming all the cities - removing their historical purposes, and over all modifying and heavily setting up checkpoints all over cities and renaming them for a better alphanumeric purpose and easy for their troops to understand. Eventually even concocting depopulation agendas that would derail humanity, chemicals in the water.. often citizens would not remember who they were much-more individually - they would forget history, art.. where they are at.. and all they would know in Geneva's case.. would be City Twenty Four.

It is notable that the Civil Protection units in this era would be more heavily armed and supplied, awaiting the riots and complications to come there of, no longer suitable pre-world Law Enforcement officers everyone used to love, they'd treat citizens with upmost haste and dilligency. This visual change is key and critical to the reaction of the world and it's unquestionable citizens. Although aware of the world and how it came to be, even with overgenerous amounts of sorrow and remorse.. their paychecks keep the officers, and their family in a 'check of power' and undying loyalty. Impending after this would be Audio, Movement, Infractions, Compliance-Verdicts and Visual Violations, and many other needless regulations that restrict citizens not only from their jobs, but useless wanderers until the Mass Genocide of The Combine, and behind the face of the tyrannical New World Order, The Universal Union.. the story was only beginning - before it was far too late.


By this time, 'Terrorist' cells would no longer be 'Terrorist' cells, most of the loyalists would have been killed by refugee and 'blue gangs'.. and thus revolutional movements concocted under a 'Free Man' would be known to the world. All previous pre-world or pre-war, in this case.. leaders.. would all be slain before they know it was all too late. The Combine and their fearsome prowess would march into the political halls and politican's abodes and slaughter their entire family and affiliates, not only with Civil Protection units - but with The Overwatch Transhuman Arm, who are now more out and visible than even previous eras. New power arises with one tyrannical ruler, and almost perfectly abolishing the old ways of the New World Order, and The Universal Union. A new leader would be inaugerated into office in persuading the loyalists still, through media.. to fight or enlist to combat the Terrorist Threat.

Those who worked in the grand International Trade Center, now formally known as The Citadel between The Universal Union and their Combine Benefactors, were slaughtered in cold blood while on active duty and then The Citadel was activated of it's full power, sending synthetic beings and attack dropships and gunboats into the skies of Earth, pounding the earth for it's resources and draining the world to a wasteland. This will be the prime and inevitable end to the lore, that will probably be the longest and awaited era through all pre-planned excitement.

This will likely still happen throughout the course of the server, roleplay or time-setbacks could work - but this will be the envitable era or phase of the server. This is my approach of how The Combine take over the world through conglomerate banking corporations, and world governments through a promise of a 'New World Order' , and buying out politicians to later form the 'Universal Union' .. those who dare speak out in politics were silenced, (it would be funny also to see someone acting like alex jones on the radio station, later to be killed) "Look around you! GLOBALIST.. SCUM!" , "They're putting things in the water, and turning the frogs gay!!"
