Hmmm, I see. Well that is pretty cool and I also saw it as that. Two in one. Why pay for movies when you can buy a game and get to watch a cinematic movie through it while doing so, even better is that your controlling it and you feel like the main haracter. Really good there. And yup, I guess your right, their still games but more movie-like now. I just worry for the day where games start to become more like movies than game. 60% movie, 40% game. That is the day I fear bad things may happen.

I doubt that'll ever happen unless it becomes the main stream. Right now it's just a subgenre. Though I also doubt it'll ever be main stream with young kids prefering action games like COD and the thought action games are fun being a popular opinon. I don't blame you for fearing such an outcome though. Only natural to fear the unknown.

I believe it's like a two for one deal now. I'm also pleased by the fact a rich world and story is more common and expected in single player games now.

Killing Floor 2 and The Witcher 3. Also the Megaman Zero series.
