Phantom Lancer is a poor pushing when it comes to hitting towers, and Shadow Shaman is a poor pusher when it comes to hitting creeps because of the cooldown on Ether Lightning. Nature's Prophet and Lone Druid, Windranger, and Leshrac are better pushers overall because they can quickly kill the creeps and the tower.

Hmm... You could try more basic heroes like Phantom Lancer, or if you're going support pusher, picking Shadow Shaman is viable as well.

Death Prophet doesn't really need Bloodstone, try going Eul's into Octarine Core.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot. I did this, and it was not only much easier to build, but the active also got me out of some sticky situations.

So, yeah, Eul into Core.

Also, build Assualt Cuirass over Shiva's Guard. Sounds silly, but it benefits your ult much more than Shiva's. Medalion is also very situational. Though Shiva's is still another good item to pick up too.
