The awards doesn't feel right to me.
Especially the fact that GTAV won two awards. Why the hell would it win "Game Within A Game" award when there's Garry's Mod that is literally a game with tons of multiplayer servers with different gamemodes. Never played Tabletop Simulator but by the looks of it, it suits the award as well. Also I don't have any "Whoa!" moments with the game at all.

Portal 2 winning "Villian Most In Need Of A Hug" award is understandable.

ETS2 winning "I Thought This Game was Cool Before It Won an Award" is okay, I guess.

Test of Time: Skyrim was literally rereleased a few months ago and it's only five years old when there're games that should've won such as TF2 or AoE II.

Just 5 More Minutes: Do people see CSGO as a competitive game or a casual game? Playing competitive would require you to play at least half an hour but it can take up to 90 minutes. Rocket League seems more fitting.

I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye: The Walking Dead qualifies but again, it's more popular than the other 4 nominees.

Best Use Of A Farm Animal: I suppose it's understandable. At least ARK didn't win.

Boom Boom: I never play any of these games so I have no comment.

Love/Hate Relationship: I never play this set of games either but knowing Dark Souls, I guess it deserves the award.

Sit Back and Relax: *sigh* I suppose it deserves the award as well. It's a shame for me that Cities Skylines didn't win.

Better With Friends: Welp, I barely play any co-op games with friends. I'm such a loner :(
I do enjoyed L4D2 though.

I'm pretty sure people treated it as a popularity contest judging that most winners are well-known.
