That's sort of the point of locking a thread though, to not give users a chance to discuss things further, depending on what was being discussed and how people went about it. I didn't see the original locked topic but I'm assuming some flaming went on or whatever. (at least something to justify a lock?)



I agree there was a lack of explanation at least on the tons of recent threads deleted, by actually communicating properly all the thread spam could have been avoided.

A mod locked a thread, rather than dealing with that you tried to continue the thread and responses in question by creating a new thread responding to those posts. Obviously any new topic that's trying to continue a topic that got locked will also get the same treatment, I don't see why someone wouldn't assume this to happen.
