I believe it was made because of bandwagons clustering GD, and was combined with a bunch of other not as active subforums like trading and artwork. We acknowledge our decision in what happens to the thread in question, and the user has to clarify if they are being serious or not.

Most of the members know what a shit-post is, as well.
