Well, it all started when she once asked me to ask her crush who he likes. He was so confused and wanted to know who she is. I was forced to tell so she got upset. I admitted to her and apologized and seems in the clear for now, but her dad is still feeling horrible, and she's crying about him.

Well of course he got confused.
Why the hell didn't she just go ask him herself?
Tbh, I can't really say it's your fault if she's upset about that.
