Q. How Experienced Are You?
A. I am some what experienced through out the time of me having a group, and being elected for Tume's admin position. (They held votes) the only time when a mod/admin position has been taken from me is when I left it. I use to own a bit of a small group, but just like most groups it did die down. I like to give warning first before banning people, or sent them private pm's to explain what they did wrong instead of just giving them a warning, so it adds a bit more of a connection towards the moderators, and the regulars.

Q. What Will You Do As a Moderator?
A. Obviously go to reported posts, see the problem, and compare the rules to that post, and see what punishment they get. (If it's something minor I will give them a warning, if it's something big, I would go to the other mods/admins) I would also try to start a Cards Against Humanity game night.

Q. How do You Know When to Take Action or Not?
A. If people are arguing in the thread, I will lock the thread for a moment, point out that they're both particiaptingly derailing a thread, then unlock and see what they do, if they continue I will take it in my own hands. Now, if an argument died down and the mods were late, and everything has been settled, I would just leave it to be settled because there is no point in sparking up the argument again. I would also take action when no one else is online (That's pretty rare though).

Q. What do you feel that FRC needs that would need you as a mod to help fullfill? What are the bad things about FRC that you feel needs to change?
A. I would want to respond to reported posts faster, because it honestly feels like the mods don't show up quick enough when you report something. Other then that, the only change I can see in this group is making sure we don't make to much pointless sub forums.

Q. Why do you want to be a moderator?
A. Because, it's a comfortable position to be in to be honest. I want to help people, I like helping people with their problems. I also like making people happy, just really as a simple as that, it's a steam group, it's not like I am going to say, "I wanted this position for the money!"

Q. What goals do you wish to fullfill on your part as a moderator? Be it making the place drama free, having events/announcements popping up, making activity more exciting or proposing new things to change the group with?
A. I would want to make it more drama free, and maybe help with the daily news if Lewin would let me. Other then that, I would want to start a cards against humanity game night with a custom Deck of inside jokes from this group.

Q. What do you want to change in FRC, or prevent from happening in FRC?
A. I want to prevent people from being shitheads to eachother just because they feel like it, and stop toxicity in this group. I don't want FRC to end up like Tume, where it's just drama after drama, and no one learns their lesson. I would think adding more rules would be a good idea, like a no spoiler rule, there is Spoiler text for a reason guys, no need to spoil anything for anyone

Q. What benefits would you bring to the group?
A. Faster report answerings, a CAH game night, constructive criticism to the group. I would hope I could also talk with people in PM if they would allow me for when they do get reported, to see if I can resolve it their, and not on the thread. Because, that's is only going to derail. I would hope I could make people happier here.

Q. Why do you think we should make you moderator?
A. Well, I am active in this community, I know some people here and I use to own another group fairly well. I use to be admin in 2 groups as well. (1 was from the owner, another was a vote that had like 40 people voting.) like I said before as well, I respond to the reports faster.


Q. What kind of personality should a moderator have, and do you think you have it?
A. I think I moderator should be kind and friendly, and make unbiased judgements. I think I do have it, usually when I judge people in a report, I make sure none of my opinions go into it, because that's just a dirty thing to do when you have power.

Q. What will be your moderating style, and what will your behaviour be as a moderator of FRC
A. Unbiased judgements, being kind and calm since I am representing this group. My moderator style will mostly follow the rules that are shown in the rules thread, I usually like to do a warning, then a ban, but I am expandable to people, instead of a day it would be an "hour break". Or whatever the rules say to do.

Q. What are your approaches to a flamewar taking place, potentially going to take place, or has already happened?
A. - Taking place
I would give both parties a chance to stop, if they don't the thread gets locked, and they both get warnings, this a public steam group not your pm's. I would then message them on their profile or pm's and ask them what it was about. I would then try to solve the dispute from the pm's. I would then unlock the thread.

B. - Potentially
Go to the pm's and ask what is bothering them with the other person before the flame war starts, or profile comments.

C. - Already Happened

Message both parties about it, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
