So I was on a hunting trip, hunting animals not for the enjoyment of it, but to get food. So I managed to get a few squirrels and a deer with my hunting rifle, normal from what I've experienced. However, today was rather a frustrating day since this one person I've met boggled my mind to the nth degree.

"You know neighbor, if you really want to eat meat, then buy some off the store, no animals were harmed in making them." At first, I thought he was being sarcastic and just mocking me. "Are you serious?", I said. He then replied that made me lost my brain cells. "Neighbor, I'm serious, at least then, not a single animal was harmed." I asked him to repeat it one more time just to confirm what he said. "You know, the stores made the meat, not a single animal was killed making them."

I was baffled, how could anyone ignore such basic logic. "Uh, neighbor, do you know where that meat in the store come from?" I asked, in a grumpy mood. "Yeah, they made some artificial crap and stuff so I'm pretty sure they're not made of animals." I then said "You're joking right?"

The worst part, he wasn't, he's 100% serious. "Are you a vegan?", I said. He then told me "No, but at least I have some morality and decency." I don't understand what that's suppose to mean, since it's not any different to just hunting a animal since I'm technically doing something normal, hunt to find food, a thing most animals do, so it makes me wonder why human beings can't do it just because "muh morality."

I then went inside anyways with the animals inside the garage, of which the neighbor said one last thing to me before I got inside. If I can recall, he said "YOU BETTER NOT EAT THAT MEAT BOY! BECAUSE IF YOU DO, GOD WILL PUNISH YOU FOR EATING MEAT WHEN ASH WEDNESDAY JUST HAPPENED A FEW DAYS AGO!"

I never cared for religion, so I fear for my neighbor's sanity for ignoring common sense, let alone not respecting that I don't believe in religion.
