Asexuals do exist, and they can have sex and masturbate but the CAUSE of these acts is influenced by the neurotransmitters in your brain! It is very possible that an asexual has never masturbated/had sex in their life. If someone is asexual and they masturbate, oddly on a regular basis, that means their brain is working and they're not asexual. It sounds kinda rude to say an asexual is dysfunctional, but hey if the chemicals aren't there to adjust your brain accordingly to a mood then it is what it is, your brain developed like that. Lets just say asexuality is more of a diagnosis, not an identity.

Theres also hypersexuality, an actual diagnosis given to people who are addicted to sexual pleasure. Although not fully determined, it does sound like a complete opposite to asexuality. You either have little chemicals influencing you or a big overdose of it influencing you. And remember, arousal is caused by a self-induced state, like Depression. It is only a matter of opinion to regard it as normal or abnormal at this point.

It's probably spaghetti to you, but essentially if you're weirdly sexual theres a possibility you've developed a problem regarding the hyperthalamus of your brain.

To conclude that masturbation is normal is feeding misinformation.
