Atheists typically despise Christians, usually for petty reasonings that come about due to a victim complex, like their mom drops them off at Sunday School and they're told to read a bible verse so they think "Religion is being forced down my throat!" when they get older, this is ESPECIALLY untrue if they live up North, I live in the fucking Bible Belt and I can assure you that having "In god we trust" on our money isn't religion being shoved down your throat, it's being scared that if people knew you were gay they can fire you from your job and have the reasoning be vague.

Tl;dr Atheists have a hateboner for Christians for mostly petty and childish reasoning when modern Christians like to ignore all the hateful shit in the Bible and just love people.

About the same amount of Christians have a hate boner for atheists as well, though. Go watch them back and forth each other on Youtube. It's pretty entertaining. There are assholes on both sides.
