FYI, it's completely legal to make your own gun in the US. As long as you're not making it with the intention of selling it.

That's why so many sites sell so-called "70%" recievers which are lacking the final touches that make them legally qualify as guns. No FFL transfer required.

Everyone but the mentally ill and felons should be able to own any type of firearm.
In terms of deaths it's really overinflated by people being disingenuous by including suicide statistics, and guns are pretty much the ultimate form of democracy.

Although I do support the brandishing laws most places already have. You don't need to wave your guns around all the time; it's just a tool, stop being so obsessive. After a lot of poking around I've found that only women - of both sexes - support gun control.

Non-violent felons should be exempt from that.
And so should most mental illnesses.
