Well firstly, I would begin with a major overhaul of the rules & ban policies.
Based on my past experiences with groups, flexibility is always the best one.
Needing to fix an entire group up to a bunch of "articulate rules" ain't good.
These groups are not huge & official online forums, we don't work that way.
So we need to be able to approach every scenario with as much flexibility.

Does anyone agree with my suggestion with what to do with the rules?

I do think there should be some specific rules to follow, but I also believe mods should be able to exercise their own judgment as well. You can't be too vague or people won't know what's actually not allowed, and you can't adhere to them too strictly or people will try to skirt them.

I'd probably get rid of some of the more controversial users.

Have a staff team of

Admins: Sir Illic, Krinkov, and Shadowcon
Mods: Aether, Robomagon, Prusak, Geech, G_Lad, Littlefoot, Evoxrus, and Bangiras

Make rules against stuff like shitposting in GD, and let staff enforce it without fear of circlejerks.
