I can agree that Darkest Dungeon isn't innovative, but not necessarily for the same reason.

Mark Brown himself explains how the affliction system ties into sort of morality based system, and I feel that's how he really saw fit to include it in the video.

My only issue is that there are other games (that are even mentioned in the video) that explore morality in a similar way.

I didn't refer to the video of course in regards to Overwatch, after all, Superhot got my attention out of all things, which I posted a post earlier about that.
