At least KF2 had a good amount of polish since it was released in early access. DayZ is still in bloody "alpha".

Oh, dont get me wrong. I think KF2 is great and I have great respect for the devs. I was just suprised it was in early access still.

Not a fan of the newest patch?

1.10 feels like Minecraft has all its soul sucked out by Microsoft. It is kinda the moment the feeling that MS is just blindly stuffing new features without considering what Minecraft should be like hits me. So yeah, tried 1.10 for a bit, then instantly hop back to 1.8.

Yeah, that of course was the biggest fear after the purchase by MS and notch leaving. Although like I said in my original post, I mostly play modded MC and I have more then enough awesomeness that vanilla could never even come close to beating. Even with just the enhanced vanillas. Not to mention the new combat mechanics suck. Haha.

A villian can become OP from their intelligence.

True, but I mean like outsmarting the hero and trapping them, something akin to the riddler.
They're much more enjoyable than a villain with a bunch of powers IMO. Plus, smart villains tend to have better personalities than the overpowered kinds which are normally just "I'm superior to you, bow down to me"

I hear you on that. I guess I myself don't define being OP with raw power or the such.
