Erm...
I lost my train of thought, so I decided to take a break from writing the story for a week or so, and I saved all my progress on a notepad file.
No other way to say it. The file is gone. And I dont remember what I had.
I am searching my pc right now to see if I misplaced it, but my recycling been was also cleared, so I fear a family relative deleted some files off my pc. As its not the only thing missing.

I asked my brother, and he indeed deleted the file, along with 20 other important files. So I have lost about 5 hours worth of writing and brainstorming, and all my ideas. I will step down as writer, as I keep trying to think of what I wrote, but all I end up with is what I already shared from before... I'm sorry. I need to set up better passwords

That's a terrible thing to do to someone.
Try running Recuva[www.piriform.com] or similar software and see if you might be able to save the file(s).
