An in-depth review for Injustice 2 mobile

An idea
I agree with you about pretty much everything you said.

But.

The reason of Injustice: Gods Among Us IS somebody looked at superman, being the complete perfect and flawless smooth character he is, and decided to make a story about him corrupting.

It's like the character does good, and that's it, period. I'm not saying he is at all a bad character, but one really wonders what happens when you drag this simply perfect character into the Batman world.

And the Batman, the team carrier with uncorruptable ideals and an objective and realistic mindset, as shown in Dark Knight series and Injustice, and I'm pretty sure as you know it today, is created by Christopher Nolan in Batman Begins.

Before that, in films, Batman was a caped ninja with no personality, at all. And even longer before that in the 60s, he was a comedian joke kind of character. And in comics he is just as tasteless as any other heros.

What makes a "superhero" good IS its character.

-Batman is, copied from last paragraph.., the team carrier with uncorruptable ideals and an objective and realistic mindset.

-Superman is, in most of his comics, somebody who values life and others more than anything, a pure symble of hope.

-Wonder woman is a savage warrior in the shell of a freedom fighter.

-Green Lantern is, welp, errr, emmm, he is willful? I guess?...

-Aquaman, aaaaquaman,,,, aaaa, yeah he is a hotheaded king, maybe

-Ironman, er, a dick?

-Captain America... Em.. Exact copy of superman on Marvel's side?

-Spiderman:.........................................................

(*Threw away mic and left)

Man of Steel and BVS basiclly brought Batman and Superman down to other character's level, turned Superman female and called him wonder woman, not knowing the name was already being used by an Amazonian fierce warrior, and made the entire movie completely tasteless.

To this point you can already see the reason I don't like Marvel COMICS and a whole. Their characters are boring and unoriginal(Always copy DC's chracter).
BUT their films are getting better and better! From copycat michael bay style Ironman, sloowly processing to movies like Logan(my favorite superhero film right after The Dark Knight), Gardens of Galaxies 2, and have a promising future of getting better.

Let's look back on DC's films, Man of Steel, (*cough-cough), BVS (*cough! cough cough cough!), the 200 trash TV shows with disposible villians and revivable main characters (*Gulp, gulp..), Zack Snyder (*Throws up all over the monitor)

Cut the crap and right into the problems.
No newbie training
Before your first battle, you are taught tap to combo attack, 2 fingers to block. Swipe to do barely any damage and put yourself defenseless. Overs

And now go fight perfect bots with this information, good luck and have fun.

After like 5 hours of playtime, I can say I don't know shit about how this game works. I finally worked out a few combos myself after countless unfair defeats and wins by pure luck.
And one word for the game's skill portion: clusterfuck.

You don't know shit about how the combo system work with the blocking and other attacks, sometimes you just tag in, and can't fucking block or dodge back, resulting in multiple enemy specials to the face. Half of the time your block is disabled, sometimes you can combo and other times, tapping the screen doesn't do shit, and you also can't block so another special to the face.

And beyond gameplay, let's talk about the game's systems, if I listed every single one, like "character unlock shards, operation mode..." I'm going to exceed word limit. It's impossibly overcomplicated, and will instantly push casual players away.

You know the kind of Japanese or Chinese action game, like the kind where you viewport is above a 2 dimensional linear street, and you control a character by joystick, like guns girl z or the old street fighter?
This game's systems are just like that, IMPOSSIBLY difficult character unlock, you have to collect a few hundred fucking shards one by one to unlock a decent character, I will talk in depth about that later, for now:

If this game had a viable real time pvp function, I imagine players can fight each other and figure this over complex system themselves, but instead you have to fight almost perfect bots, which leads to:
Learning curve cliff and reasons leads to deadly choke point after about 2 hours of playing
Again, you know the kind of poorly designed game, after playing a while you just have absolutely nothing to do because the levels become impossible to beat, and there is no way to continue except put in tons of money?
Well, injustice 2 is one of those games.

First of all just in case people start going like "u r just bad", I can beat all story modes with no problem at all, which although is not a lot to show off with, proves that I am a qualified player.

The characters you have to begin with are TRASH, capital trash. And the only way to unlock some usable cards, if not to spend literally months collecting shards, is do the box opening which is 150 gems per one. Unlike injustice gods among us, in which you can earn substantial amount of currency from previous levels and buy characters or specific packs.

Instead, you have this all-in-one unboxing, there is a TINY chance you can get a gold character, a small chance to get a 2 star character (I have gotten 2 out of 6 unboxes), WHICH IS BY THE WAY, although definitely better than 1 star characters, STILL FUCKING TRASH. And most of the time you just get a character exactly the same with what you already have (1 star trash), except have different attack animations.
Oh they have different passives you said? My Wonder Woman gives me 5% damage bonus against male characters, and batman have a 10% crit rate, which is BIG DIFFERENCE RIGHT?

Character diversity is for later to complain about, back to choke point.

So there are only a few modes:
Story
Mutiplayer
Champaign

Story mode we can consider it completely outside the game, just for pure fun, no stuff you can get from it.

You can get VERY TINY amount of gold daily and A FEW special mutiplayer currency weekly depending on your ranking. You can use thousands of useless gold to upgrade your characters' specials' damage by about less than 10 per upgrade. It's like upgrading your hero in clash of clans.

And the mutiplayer currency is for buying character shards. I have calculated that, if you play 2 hours of mutiplayer per day, and the character shards you want is always in the store, which have 6 randomized shards being sold everyday, it will take about right around 2-3 months to unlock a gold character.

HOOO FUCKING RAY

So yeah mutiplayer mode can also be considered as a special feature which have nothing to do to with the actual game.

And last but of course not least, actually it should be most. Campaign.

After the first chapter, your "battle rating", which is an estimate of the 3 cards that make up your team's level, becomes about half of the enemy team's rating.

So yeah I don't want to write too much here and make you miss the point.

You, as an uneducated noob in a game with no learning curve but a literally cliff, are fighting perfect AI opponent, with cards about half of their level.

One combo from them unblocked will severely damage you, a special, blocked or not, is pretty much an instant kill.

They will dodge EVERY, SINGLE, ONE of your special unless you spend dozens of games finally figuring out how to chain your special together with your combo. Which are character specific, so if you change character, start over.

To sum up this section:
-Impossible to unlock any characters in foreseeable future
-Can't use in-game currency to buy character, you can only spend gems to open box(singular), THE ONLY box, and have an extremely high rate of getting trash, a small chance to get stuff slightly better than the cards you start with, and a tiny chance to get a gold character.
AND DID I MENTION BEFORE? You CAN get shards for characters you already own, which can theoretically be used to rank their star up, but you need about 4 times as many shards you unlocked them with.
-In-game currency you earn from battle is pretty much useless when it comes to character unlock.

So again, you are battling perfect operating AIs with trash stuff.

To sum up
This is the kind of game, where you can stack up mountains of "gold" and have NO use with them.
All the currencies are jokes. NO USE.

Only way to get decent character without playing the same level for 2 months is to open the boxy.

No rewards from mutiplayer or story mode.

Extremely boring clusterfuck-ical gameplay, almost zero character diversity, no learning curve.

Some of the stuff are impossible to figure out by yourself because of the overcomplicated system. There are 5 attack types, a dodge, a block, and 2 specials. Figuring out the chaining relationship between all of them is in-fucking-possible without a guide.

And you choke after 2 hours. Just stare at the screen or play the exact same level over and over again.

And not to mention the game's crushing problems, sudden extremely long loading times under perfect internet.

Only good thing is story mode, the quality is amazing.
And maybe graphic.

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Now I honestly feel like some of the DC characters will be better off in Marvel's hands.

DC is ruining their best characters. Now to think of it, although Marvel is like a copycat when it comes to half of their chracters, DC is completely idiotic and got all their fame by luck.

DC did not create Batman the dark knight as we know it, Christopher Nolan did. DC just drew a character that look like a bat and that's it.

Superman and wonderwoman have completely no real personality or charcteristics what so ever except in Injustice: Gods Among Us which I think is the best comic DC ever produced, followed by watchmen.

And now DC's hopeless love for Zack the amazing director totally fucked up the protential of their movie industry as Christopher Nolan have showed us with the first real, and objectively the best "superhero" movies.

Some specific examples of how much they care about their characters, there have been 2 DC "restart"s in the last 5 years or so. Their entire movie universe, of a killing Batman, a dead Doomsday, a non-promising and basiclly non-existant joker, an already dead Robin, and I can go on but this spells out to me as "Fuck our fans and what they want", and "We are going to make another suicide squad except it's the justice league, yay"

For not-so-hardcore Batman fans, the entire point of every single personality trait of the Batman we know from the Dark Knight series and Injustice, is that he have an unbendable set of moral priciples which includes "No killing" as the most important one. The entire comic of Injustice is based around a Superman who went extreme on matters about "justice" and started basiclly ruling people and excuting people who have different opinion with him.

That's way too much of my time wasted already!!! Ok that's it back to my essay!!!
