And even after TF2 Heavy beat the shit out of him, he suddenly learned how to use the device by smashing it into the ubersaw wound.

I didn't like it, but i can't really call BS on him since the other TF2 mercs were saved by some shady soul stealing or Deus ex Machina events (literally Deus, in Scout's case).

No.

First off, the nerf almost destroyed it.

No more surviving backstabs. No more surviving mediocre damage while on low health. No more picking up ammo packs or leeching off dispensers while cloaked.

Oh, but you do get a tiny speed boost for about one second right after it's activated! Woohoo!

Second off, it doesn't matter if you survive as long as you don't kill anyone.
A Spy with a long lifetime and 0 kills isn't very useful.

Besides, it still has that decloak sound even louder than a pan crit, and it's really easy to check if a Spy dead-ringered.
