If you are very invested in certain genres (sports, JRPGs) or of certain franchises that aren't on PC, that's a perfectly valid positive for the console in question.

That's not an advantage, though.

If someone really want to play the next Final Fantasy or Hideo Kojima game, yes it is. And 99% of those exclusives on PC aren't necessarily going to cut it. Bloodborne is almost never coming to PC, that's a perfectly good reason to buy a PS if you want to play it.

And yes, it can go both ways too. Console gamers will never get to play Dota 2 or League of Legends, without a PC.

Sure, it might be a reason for a specific person to buy a console, but that doesn't mean it's an advantage. That's like saying using old computer parts and operating systems have an advantage because it runs old games better.

If someone really wants to play a classic PC game they somehow just can't play through DOSBox, virtual machines, or the like, they are perfectly fine to prefer the "old computer" to play videogames. And yes, it would count as a negative for the "newer" machine if it can't run legacy software going that far back.

You'll see plenty of cheaters in Valve's own games, not because VAC don't work, it's because most of their games are free or dirt cheap. The downsides to getting VAC banned are small, if you don't cheat with your main profile.

"More" don't equate better, or for everyone. A dedicated Nintendo fan isn't going to give a toss that PC has Big Rigs Over the Road Racing all to themselves.

"Better" is subjective. That reason is invalid.

I personally hate Nintendo exclusives, excluding Pokemon and Advance Wars.

As been said by Panic and me, however, you still need to download patches for console games. I played The Last of Us without patches once.

Never again.

You don't need to download every game online on PC. That's a myth.
