One of them is more lenient on detection, and involves more shoot shoot, but you can opt to stealth it.

The other is pure stealth for a different kind of challenge.

I understand your intention is to have distinct classes, but I don't think there's much need for this?

Alpha Protocol sounds similar to this idea, your loadout reflects your means of accomplishing the mission, loud/silent takedown/ghost or mix of each. If you get bored of killing, or really need to do the next mission quiet, you can leave the shotgun and take the knock-out darts instead. You weren't locked in a certain playstyle from the start of the game by picking a class.

I think this idea might work in a MP though. One person HAS to be the grunt, the other HAS to be the sneaky class, and they assist the third playing as the the hacker.

What's stopping you from getting it yourself?

CGI, special effects, visual effects, and compositing are completely different things.
