As a single moderator in a group, I cannot make single decisions by myself. What would be better is to co-operate with all the mods, admins, and the leader of the group to discuss what we will do would be better for us or worse.

And the idea is from Lewin and Roald Dahl. In Roald Dahl autobiography it states that he went to school and he always see a big boring post saying the name of his school. He wanted it to be different everyday, with each days with different nitbits of information. Lewin used to make announcement (usually one a week) that has random information, music, etc.

How experienced am I?
Some people might say I will turn up to be a horrible mod but I digress. I have been on the steam forums for a long time, perhaps even before people like Evoxrus.
I used to be a mod on the Forum Regulars but due to limited control and things being well contained (most of the time), the position of mod just mean't that I have a star right next to my username and I believe I didn't act well as a mod.
However, I have other experiences beside from being a small time online forum mod.
Examples include:

• I am the oldest male out of all of my cousins so I act as a leader to most of my cousins.
  
• I am often drafted to be leaders in school projects when I was younger.
  
• I have experiences with people. Online and in the "Real World".
  
• I often play competitive online video games and often lead my team mates and/or friends.

What will I do as a moderator?
I am somewhat concentrating on my studies and certain video games and often have little time for forum activities. However, I would like to make single announcements at least once per day.
The announcements would consist of music, news, tidbits, and more or less.

As a moderator I will:

1. Probably be the same person, except that I might act more mature.
   
2. Monitor the Forums when I have spare time.
   
3. Try to keep the group active.

How do I know when to take action or not?
Experience.

Why do I want to be a moderator?
Unlike most other forum group, I consider most of the members of this group to be nice with a hint of internet memes. I want this group to last a long time and try to make the members stick together. Seeing how other forum groups went to shit, I want to make sure this one also don't go down the drain.
