Objectively though, it's good to be able to announce an important event.
This does allow members who are not present to be able to understand.
Try looking back, to the announcement made when the FRC opened.
After all, it would be pretty confusing to have a missing moderator.

a) As if anyone looks that far back in Announcements of all things

b) There's no practical reason to know who's a moderator when the list is easily accessible via the Members button.

c) Erick didn't get one when he was demoted. Anatolia didn't get one when she was demoted. Why does this somehow apply to me now?

I hereby renounce my own moderatorship.

Given the events of the past few days, I will freely admit that I royally fucked up at my job. I, with the fury of a thousand tumblr cucks, let emotion get in the way of decisionmaking, and abused my moderating power. Originally, I had thought it was the best course of action. But after reading the arguments going on throughout the forums, I realize that, NO , it was a bloody stupid course of action.

I realize that the responsibility of moderator is too much for me, and I am unfit to be a mod anymore.

Because FRC will now be short another moderator, I'd like to nominate Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart as my last request to the new owner, as he is MILES above me in moderating skill.

Though I'm still staying the group.
