Managing a Steam group is mostly stressful because you happen to have other things to worry about, like you actually have a life. It's also stressful because you have to make decisions that you'll always get heavily judged for, regardless if they're right or wrong. It's also stressful because you deal with reports and protesting, on a long run those things really put a lot of pressure on you.

I see this is more like your personal opinion rather than you actually trying to give proper advice. Any good moderator takes reports seriously and if the group makes sense (this group really doesn't at this point), they'd be able to decide whether or not that person deserves the ban. General rule is, if you're an asshole towards others, you need to be kicked the fuck away immediately. This rule doesn't apply in this group for whatever reason.

In Reddit for instance, which is such a perfect example of well moderated platform, you can take arguing very far with people, but as soon as you start to throw inappropriate words such as 'kill yourself' or 'you fucking retarded piece of shit', you're banned. There is an obvious difference between having a constructive conversation with someone and just throwing insults at people. Even if such thing is not technically prohibited by the group rules themselves, this kind of behavior should always be disapproved and punishable in my eyes. If you can't manage a conversation with someone without such insults, you don't deserve to have any conversations with anyone.

It's not my opinion, it's blatently obvious people like Littlefoot have a stupid grudge against her for one reason or another which they refuse to let go. Hell, I've bought this up before and they've refused to comment on it, leading me to believe it's true and they know it.

As for Reddit, that's a completely different site so shouldn't apply here. Look at the steam forums and the amount of insults that are thrown around there. Is anyone banned because of it? No, the same should apply here because it's on exactly the same site.

I don't see how for example, telling people to kill themselves is a joke. He isn't joking - that is just a random excuse that you threw out of nowhere. He is provoking, plain simple.

I'm not Pyrofish, I dont know whether she is joking or not. However, I do know that people in this group take everything way to seriously and a triggered by even the slightest insult. That's not good behaviour by any stretch of the imagination and normally stuff you find on fucking Tumblr. Honestly, people here just need to grow up and get used to being insulted because it's going to happen no matter where they are or what they are doing simply due to the fact that we are all human and humans are massive assholes.

That's just being a shit mod and ignoring what the majority wants in favour of what you want to do. The main problem is that there's two factions in FRC, the forum filthers and the FRC members. These two simply cannot stop arguing over the littlest of things, and most of that usually stems from the subject of Pyrofish. It's fine in forum filth, since most of the people there are like-minded individuals. But FRC is a mixture of both, and it just leads to constant bickering and arguing. You say the problem is the "those who can't take a joke", but that's a very large section of FRC.

That still doesn't excuse bad moderation.
You've only punished one party here, the people from FF. Once again the other side has gotten away scott free, just as it has done in previous times.
Plus, you have really shown blatent favouritism here when really, as a mod, you should be neutral. You let the one banning her through yet you're not letting this one through for no reason. Leading me to assume you're just picking favourites, something a mod should not do.
