Tali is both hilarious and actually has the depth of a real person. Plus her goodbye in the final moments of the game is about the most heartbreaking thing ever. I can relate... not quite agree but relate.

Actually quite the opposite. The only non-humans in ME universe who wouldn't be able to live off some sort of synthetic nutrition we can produce are dextro-DNA based species - Turians and Quarians.

I'm going to say Mercy from Overwatch or Tali from Mass Effect.
Mercy, as far as I know, is experienced in using nanobots for medicinal purposes (I'm pretty sure the wiki states that's how her staff works) so she could help advance our medicinal science by several decades, if not centuries. And, unlike the medic, she won't experiment on you.

Tali has knowledge on space travel as well as many other things. Meaning, with her help we could achieve FTL space travel and could eventually become a spacefaring species, possibly within our life times.
