Necro guy didnt get punished

He deleted all of his posts shortly after Necroing the threads. I reported atleast 20 of his necros, but I'm thinking a reported post that's deleted doesn't display for the Mods.

I don't see how else he escaped the ban.

Anyone have any idea if it's true or not? I can't find any info about it through google, or the steam support section.

I really don't understand what's with this overraction of when the mods clean house. Like I've said after every ban wave, the people who got the boot were constantly breaking the rules. I should know, I've sent in enough reports of derailing/youtube spam/off-topic over the last couple months because the board has been filling with nothing but poor excuses for trolling and spam.

The mods did things right, and removed the people who broke the rules constantly.

The guy who posted just the single . I haven't seen much of around. Likely doesn't have anywhere near enough reports for them to take any kind of action against.

They rarely ban based on single posts, unless it's about complaining the mods banned someone/cussing them out/ so on so forth.

Well, it's not really the place to post it. People got banned for off-topic posting and spam. Of course you're going to be in the line of firing doing that.

They have nothing against regulars. They have issues with people breaking rules.

This ban wave has been a long time coming, as they swept up many people in one go this time around.

Both were well known for off-topic and derailment. If I'm recalling correctly this isn't G_lads first ban either.

Even though I'm already on the list, still just popping in to check up on things. I might not post often, but rest assured I'm lurking and will chime in when needed.

It's not surprising tbh. Derailing threads seems to be a popular trend on the board, and it's been happening on basically every thread that's not obvious spam (But you guys also post on them too instead of reporting and moving on). If you constantly derail, post youtube spam and what-not, you're gonna get banned sooner or later for something else minor.

Even if it's over a long period of time, it'll eventually catch up to you when you step out of line slightly.

Not meaning to attack or offend anyone personally, just throwing my experience out there about how bans work.

I might join you guys for some MvM later. Depends on if I have to work late or not.
