Does Awew really even mention the sniper's weapons that much? I don't really recall him doing that. As stated above in this post though, Joke Train is much more nitpicky in his posts about certain details that Awew isn't. They're slightly similar in that they're both rude, but there's differences in the actual content of their posts.

Awew also made some posts about Joke Train and didn't refer to himself as Joke Train, so he'd have to be pretending that he's not Joke Train. It's possible, but none of Joke Train's other alts ever actually tried to hide the fact that they were alts.

The more I think about it, the more confusing this is getting.

I'm just going to say I dislike them both equally and call it a day.

Awew isn't Joke Train. Their behavior are different enough that they can't be the same unless it's all some weird ruse. I personally remember Joke Train was better when he was posting on his main, but I could be wrong.

His posting style is quite similar. He goes through phases. Remember for a couple months straight atleast 4 times a week he'd make a thread whining about how people use The Classic and flame anyone who said they enjoyed using it? Or lately when a Sleeper thread gets made and he starts going off on anyone who says the use it? Pretty much the same as his huntsman rants.

He's just as intolerant and rude towards people as he's always been when he's not posting single word posts.

He's gotten lazier over the years on his flaming and responses. But when he goes off, it's pretty much the same posting style.

Awew also appeared a couple weeks after PNG_Pyro was banned, and that was most certainly Joke Train.

As mentioned earlier, the bans that you refer to as "ridiculous" are likely made up; in that one group of forum regulars, there were multiple users claiming to have been banned for reason x while they either weren't banned for the reason they specified or not banned at all.
Should anyone really find their ban to be unjust, they are free to leave a comment to their moderation message so we can take another look at it.
With that said, being a helpful member at some point doesn't give you the right to insult others left and right in other threads. Those who received permanent bans were given enough warnings in the past.

As for "others are doing the same, why aren't they getting banned": If you see others violating the rules, you can feel free to report such violations. With more than 10k hubs on Steam, there's always stuff we won't catch when it doesn't get reported.

Reporting a post goes straight to whomever mod sees it. Even if you call the cops, there's no guarentee they'll get what they need, or even be there in a timely manner to deal with said situation.

They're similar ideas, but vary in how they work. Besides, you can always make an alt. You can't exacly make an alt to avoid Big Bubba in prison.

Everyone I've seen that got Perma'd and even week/3 day ban has been atleast one of the following:

Spam posts
Derailing
Off-topic
Shitposting
Unrelated video spam

Implying that anything to do with an internet forum has to do with throwing a joyous occation in the real world where a group of friends come together to enjoy themselves.

Besides, parties have rules too. Like "Don't destroy the place" or "Don't get the cops called on us".

There's no report button in the real world.

Just because you don't like hearing the truth about what's going on, doesn't mean I'm not right about why people are getting banned. After all, there's a reason I haven't been banned once in my 3 and a half year stay on the forums.

Err, I wasn't Perma'd, but I got Tempo'd from Circumventing the Word filter in an argument against Joketrain one time. I bet it was him that reported me. That dirty, low-blow fuck.

I've done that to a couple of his alts. He started cussing at me over the Huntsman and how I should kill myself because I enjoy using it from time to time.

Maybe one day he'll get perma blocked from the forums. He's been a cancerous user since even before my time.

Many, many shitposts to make people go insane.

The Mods are still around as more people have been getting banned.

Right after a Ban wave they stick around for the lashback to clean up what they missed.

Besides, they don't care about occasional things here or there. It's just when it's constant the ban hammer eventually falls.
